Obituary October 6, 1917 - April 12, 2010 Georgina Zori Liberty Carevich, beloved Aunt, friend and native Tacoma resident, passed away at the age of 92. She was born in Tacoma and lived on North Starr Street for 87 years. She loved Old Town Tacoma and took pride in being a member of Saint Patrick's Church, the Slavonian American Benevolent Society, the Catholic Daughters and the Old Town Gals Social Group. Her love for family & friends, the City of Tacoma, and the wonderful people of Tacoma was always a priority in all she did. She attended Saint Patrick School, Jason Lee Middle School and Stadium High School. She was employed as a Bookkeeper at The Bon Marche, then at Saint Leo's Church. She spent many years caring for her Parents before they passed away. She will be remembered for her strength, generosity, dedication to family and friends, her warm friendly smile, having a great sense of humor and a wonderful joy filled laugh. She lived life with a twinkle in her eye, love in her heart, a smile on her face, a love for dancing and laughing whenever possible. She is preceded in death by her parent Vladimir and Franka, her brother Sonny, her sister Katherine and her sister Helen. Together may they rest in peace. She is survived by her nephews: Paul Serka, Robert Serka, Joe Tonsich, Nick Tonsich and her great nephew Kent "Sparky" Serka, all who live in California. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, 11:00 am at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Viewing prior to Mass at 10:30 am followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
