William Woodard Sr.

Obituary William Joseph Woodard (Woody) Of Midland was born to Marie A. Klee and James A. Woodard on Sept. 25th, 1938 and went to be with our Lord on April 1st, 2005. He graduated from Bellarmine Prep in 1957, served 4 years in USAF during Vietnam, and retired after 33 yrs. from IBM. He is survived by his wife of 36 yrs., Margaret Lewandowski and children, William Joseph Woodard Jr. (Mikki), Bonnie Jean Bradley, Gerald John II and James Riley Stephen. In addition seven siblings, Rita Woodard, Dollie Johnson, Martie Hartway, Reggie Hesler, Mickey Carter, Gaylin and Jerry Woodard. Also left behind are six grandchildren whom he adored, and an extended family of more than 100. Woody was involved in many clubs and organizations passing on his words of wisdom and years of experience. Woody touched many lives in such an influential, positive and charitable way that he will be truly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his family, Woody loved bike riding, the outdoors, camping, bonfires, and enjoyed doing these things with his family, friends and neighbors. He loved his church activities and had a lifelong relationship with the Lord. He was truly a friend to all and a stranger to none. A Rosary will be said at Gaffney's Funeral Home, Friday, April 8th at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9th at St. Mary's Traditional Catholic Church in Tacoma at 10AM.
