William N Udall

Bill was born March 13, 1935 at Tacoma General Hospital.  He attended Lowell elementary, Mason Jr. High, and graduated from Stadium High school in 1954 where he was a member of the varsity swim team, ski club and other clubs and committees. He attended WSU and graduated from UPS.

He was an avid sportsman, organized and participated in badminton tournaments in the Tacoma area.  He was a member of the YMCA for 80 years where he played raquetball, his favorite sport.  He participated in numerous tournaments in the Puget Sound area, many with his son, Michael, and was assistant coach for one of the Nortac girls' soccer teams on which his daughter, Melia, played.  He was also an avid fisherman, entered derbies, and made many trips to Ilwaco with friends and family.  In his younger years he spent summers on Vashon Island and later took many trips to Maui with his wife, Debbie, and enjoyed summers at Sunset Beach.

Bill loved travel, music, theater, flowers, gardening and grew an abundance of daffodils at his office in Old Town. In the late 60's he opened Udall Realty which was in operation for many years.  There he worked hard wheelin' and dealin', made many friends and aquaintances and loved every minute of it.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Melia; was preceeded in death by his son, Michael; granddaughter, Katherine Bond; sisters Phyllis Olsen and Ducky Thompson-Bowling; extended family and friends.

Active in work and leisure exemplified his life.
