Obituary William Salamone William Salamone was a young man known for his welcoming smile and friendly ways. He lived his entire life in Fife graduating from Fife High School class of 2000. As a youth, William participated in Boy Scouts Troop 525 and in most of the local sports activities in his community. As an adult, he cared about family, friends, computer games, and music. Recently he had started a new job at Sears in shipping and receiving after working two years at the Emerald Queen Casino. He passed away suddenly on March 28, 2008. William is survived by his loving parents, John and Arlene Salamone and his brother, Michael. Also, grieving are his uncle, Joseph Salamone, his cousin, Benjamin Salamone, his aunt Theresa Kaplan, his great-uncle Joe Rozenski and his cousins: Janell and Dan Orr, Robert Keating, Mark, Lindsay, and Jacob Gray, and Deric Orr. Waiting to welcome William into his new life are his loving grandparents Arthur and Helen Brown and John and Wanda Salamone. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Fife at 11:00 am; reception to follow. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Fife High School Scholarship Foundation in care of the Helen Rozenski Brown and William Salamone Memorial Fund.
