Obituary William "Bill" Joseph Musser Bill Musser, longtime resident of Gig Harbor, passed away on June 18, 2016 at St. Anthony's Hospital following a long illness. Born July 17, 1941 to John and Regina Musser, Bill graduated from Fife High School in 1959; Central Washington University in 1966; and attended graduate studies at Pacific Lutheran University. Bill married his high school sweetheart Linda Kaelin in 1964. Soon after, Bill began a 43-year career with Weyerhaeuser where he held numerous leadership positions. During his career, Bill was Chairman of the Board of Woodstone Credit Union, President of Mt. Rainier chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants, National Vice President of the Institute of Management Accountants, and Chairman of the Board at Bellarmine Preparatory School. Bill loved spending time in the outdoors hunting, razor clamming, and fishing with his son Jim. They enjoyed fishing Neah Bay, Vancouver Island, and Southeast Alaska in his custom made Seasport boat "Kae-Lin." Bill's real joy was spending time with his family. Sunday dinners were a regular time for family to gather at the Musser household. Bill is survived by his wife Linda of 52 years, mother Regina Musser, daughter Marie (Rob) Wenman, daughter Lauri (Tim) Flynn, son Jim Musser (Jen Martin), grandchildren Matt (Shannon), Abby, Alex, and Cameron Wenman, Taylor, Jake, and Colby Flynn, Grace Musser, and Meagan Martin, great-granddaughter Addelyn Wenman, brother John Musser, and numerous other close relatives and friends. Rosary will be held 7pm Thursday, June 23rd, at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 S Yakima Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405. Services will be held 11am Friday, June 24th, at St. Charles Borromeo, 7112 S 12th St., Tacoma, WA 98465. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home.
