Obituary Tony Jezek Wayne Edward Jezek was born November 27, 1929 in Tacoma WA, and passed into the arms of the Lord at home on Friday July 29, 2011 in Tacoma. Tony graduated from Bellarmine High School in 1948, joined the Army and was a Korean War veteran. He returned to Tacoma where he worked until retirement for the City of Tacoma as a heavy equipment mechanic and retired from the City in 1995. Throughout his life and into his retirement years, he was at his best when in the outdoors and spent time fishing and hunting. In his later years he took pride in his flower and vegetable gardening. He was an active member of AMVETS Yankee Doodle Post #5 as well as a member of the ELKS. Tony is survived by his son Marty, wife Juanita and his only grandson Max, along with sister in law Marie Turco, her husband Larry and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Teresa of nearly 50 years, his parents Edward and Evelyn, sister Patricia and brother Ray. Memorial Service will be celebrated at Calvary Cemetery Visitation Chapel on Monday August 8 at 1:00 pm. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, 5212 - 70th St. W, Tacoma, 98467.
