Warren Douglas Fisk, 76, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1948, in Skagway, Alaska, to Geraldine and Richard Fisk.

Warren grew up in Parkland, WA, and graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1967. He went on to earn his degree from the University of Washington, a place that fueled his lifelong passion for learning. For 25 years, Warren dedicated his career to Pennwalt on the tide flats of Tacoma. Later, he returned to his alma mater to earn a certificate in genealogy, combining his professional skills with a deep personal interest in family history.

Warren married the love of his life, Patricia J. Fisk, and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage. They raised two children, Melanie L. Rogers (Tim) and Douglas R. Fisk (Kelda), and were blessed with six grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

A devoted family man, Warren loved nothing more than spending time with those he cherished most. His love for genealogy reflected his commitment to preserving family stories and connecting generations. Alongside his wife, he explored the world, visiting more than 30 countries and immersing himself in diverse cultures.

Warren was a lifelong baseball enthusiast, cheering on the Seattle Mariners and Tacoma Rainiers. Spring Training in Arizona and countless games brought him immense happiness. At home, Warren found peace on the Puget Sound, where he built a home in Lakebay on the Key Peninsula. He and Patricia enjoyed many years of beachside walks and family gatherings in the serene surroundings he loved.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine and Richard Fisk, and his sister, Patricia Fisk. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, patience, warmth, and hard work. His adventurous spirit and deep love for family and community will be remembered by all who knew him.

Warren was loved deeply and will be missed profoundly. His life was a testament to the beauty of connection, adventure, and love.
