Wally Burnett

Obituary Wally (Valli) Burnett Wally was born on January 15, 1925 in Florence, Italy and passed away on November 17, 2013 at Tacoma Lutheran Home after suffering a massive stroke, she was 88. Wally met her husband of 66 years, Ralph Burnett, while he was serving in the U.S. Army in Italy. She was an active member of the Tacoma Country & Golf Club where she enjoyed playing golf and bridge, and of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She worked in Tacoma for many years for the Lou Johnson Clothing and Gunderson & Talcott Jewelry companies. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Ralph Burnett on July 9, 2013; parents, Pasquale & Ginetta Giannini; and brother of Florence, Italy. She is survived by nieces, Beatrice, and Elizabetta of Italy; niece, Elizabeth Burnett of Tacoma; and numerous cousins of Italy. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2012 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5510 No. 44th St. Tacoma with reception to follow.
