Vivian Gaydos Mullen

Obituary Vivian G. Mullen 1918~2008 Vivian Gaydos Mullen died peacefully in her sleep on May 7, 2008, at the age of 89. She was born Margaret Vivian Gaydos in Fairchance, PA, on Sept. 28, 1918, and was raised by Michael and Katherine Gaydos to be the devout Catholic she remained her entire life. She married the love of her life, Bernard "Bud" Mullen on Jan. 20, 1946. He rose to the rank of Lt. Col. in the Air Force and they toured the world together. They became the good parents in 1952 (Neil) and 1956 (Michael). Bud's passing in 1974 was a sadness that never left her, but she started a new life with the birth of her grandchildren Anna (1989) and twins Samuel and Gabriel (1993). She was a happy and successful grandmother, and active in the lives of her loved ones, friends and family, until the time of her death. She is survived by her sons Neil (and daughter-in-law Yolanda Duralde , and Michael (and daughter-in-law Katy O'Neill), her brother, Charles Gaydos, and her three beloved grandchildren Anna, Sam and Gabe.
