Obituary Violet Anna Rhule 6/21/1924 ~ 7/16/2015 Violet Anna Rhule joined her husband Robert and daughter Yvonn in peace, passing quietly with family at her bedside. Violet was a loving and caring mother to her six children: Gary, Vyann, Yvonn, Tracy and Anita. She was grandmother to Gabrielle, Laurel, Heather, Holly, Nicholas, Annalysse and Antonio; and great-grandmother to Olivia, Aidan, Sophie and Isabella. Born and raised in Montana, Mom moved to Olympia to join her sister's family. It was there she met her husband. Mom and Dad were married for 60 years and made their home in Fircrest, amongst the green trees and gardens she loved. They also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cabin on the bay in Olympia. Mom will always be remembered as giving to her family first. She had a sweet and kind nature, and always a full cookie jar. Mom was an avid reader and instilled the same in her children. With dad, she was able to travel and visit many of the places she enjoyed reading about. Mom enjoyed a very happy and full life of ninety-one years and left many a happy heart. We would like to thank all our family and friends for their loving support. To her caregivers, thank you for the gentle and compassionate care you gave our mother. A Funeral Service will be held in on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 11:00am, at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel in Tacoma.
