Obituary Vera R. Tarmina "The Loveliest of our clan" Vera passed away April 12, 2005, in Tacoma. She cherished family and friends, and loved helping others. Interests included baking, gardening and dancing. Vera had an unmatched zest for life, a sparkling personality, a loving heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. Survived by son Gary (Susan) Tarmina; daughter Patricia (Rich) Hiatt; sister Yolanda Murray; granddaughters Colleen and Kelly; great-grandchildren Riquel, Michelle, and Jeffrey; nieces and nephews and special friend Dan O'Brien. Preceded in death by husband Sam Tarmina; grandson Charles Pretti; brother Albert Nigro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2005, 10:30 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church.
