Obituary Tosca M. Macaluso Tosca M. Macaluso, 93, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2010 with her family at her side in Round Rock, Texas. She resided here for 36 years. Tosca was born in Pistoia, Italy on July 28, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 1970. She met James during WWII in her hometown of Pistoia, Italy. When the war ended, James sent for her. She traveled as a "war bride". She traveled by boat, then by train. She made her home in Tacoma, Washington where she and James married and resided there till 1974, and she then moved to Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ilario and Elvira Ferri, brother Bruno, sisters, Elda, and Norma. Tosca is survived by her sister Olga and many nephews and nieces in Italy, and sons Anthony (Barbara), Joe (Marie) of Round Rock, Texas, and daughter Francie of Tacoma, Washington. Tosca leaves behind 6 grandsons, Todd, Adam, Vincent, Michael, Justin and Jeff. And great-grandsons Jordan, Hunter and Noah. She will be greatly missed and love by all those who knew her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 13, 2010, 1:00 pm at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
