Thomas Cassel

Obituary Tom, 68, left this world on Dec. 18th. He was born in Lansing MI and grew up there and Houghton Lake. He came to the northwest in 1981 and made this his home. When he retired at the end of 2016, he had worked for Comcast Cable for 35 yrs. He had advanced from installer through the ranks to head end tech and had received numerous accolades, including employee of the year. He loved camping and drag racing, where he won several awards. Having been together for 35 yrs, he leaves behind his loving wife Maggie. He also leaves his son Thomas E. (Deborah) of Ohio, his daughter Kristina Reed (Darrel) of Spanaway and 7 grandchildren. He also leaves 6 brothers and their families who were a close and loving part of his life. Tom was laid to rest on Dec. 27th at Calvary Cemetery in the presence of his family.
