Thomas Joseph Beritich

Obituary Thomas J. Beritich On October 24, 2014, Tom passed away with his family by his side. He was born on June 18, 1935 in Tacoma, WA to Kuzma and Jennie Beritich. He attended St. Patrick and Bellarmine Preparatory Schools. Tom started working on the family fishing boat at the age of 14; was later drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Whittier, Alaska. After serving his country, Tom returned to Tacoma and continued to fish commercially. Tom married Nancy Trummert in 1963 and they had two daughters. Tom was a caring and generous man to both his family and friends. His family meant everything to him. Tom's special joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping and sports. Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Brenda Neilan (George), and Theresa Robinson (Patrick); grandchildren, Marissa Neilan, Patrick and Dylan Robinson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by a reception. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
