Obituary Theodore James Healy February 9, 1967 - March 13, 2010 Our beloved son and brother passed away unexpectedly March 13, 2010. He was 43. Ted grew up in Tacoma with his parents, Jim and Mary-Jo, his brother, Tim, and his sister, Kate. Ted attended Saint Patrick Catholic School and graduated from Bellarmine High School in 1985. Ted went on to study at Washington State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Ted worked in the insurance industry as a property specialist, a lead property adjuster, and a casualty adjuster. Ted valued spending time with friends, family, and his Labrador Lobo. He loved music, Rock'n'roll, and playing his guitar. Ted enjoyed the outdoors, the Joes Bay beach place, fishing the Hoh River, boating, skiing, snowboarding, hunting, sports, and trips to Maui. Ted is survived by his father, Jim Healy; his brother, Tim (Jennifer) Healy; his sister, Kate Healy; his nephews, Tyler Healy and Brendan Healy; and many more family members and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his mother, Mary-Jo Healy; his grandfather, Lee Hanley; his grandmother, Dorie Hanley; his grandfather, Jim Healy; his grandmother, Theresa Healy; and his uncle, E.W. Swackhamer. Funeral Mass and celebration of Ted's life will be held March 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Tacoma.
