Thelma Del Valle

Obituary Thelma (Manarino) Del Valle Thelma was born in Tacoma, WA to Joseph and Rose Manarino. She passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009. She was something! Thelma lived in Tacoma until she married John Del Valle. They moved to St. Louis, then to Beverly Hills, and finally to Miami. When her husband died in 1991 she returned to Tacoma to be with family. Thelma enjoyed life. She had many friends and was quite adventuresome. While living in St. Louis she became great friends with baseball announcer Harry Cary and family. In Beverly Hills while at her husband's store not a day would go by without seeing a Hollywood star. Oh the stories she would tell. She and her two sisters were quite a threesome, being regulars for lunch at many Tacoma restaurants. She will be missed.
