Sylvia E. Carl

Obituary Sylvia Carl, born September 17, 1913, died July 6, 2006. Born and raised in Tacoma she was a lifelong member of St. Rita's Catholic Church, a member of P.I.A., past president of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, and she also belonged to St. Rita's Sodality and the Elks Lodge. Sylvia was known for her Italian cooking and wonderful meals prepared for her family and many friends. Sylvia is survived by, children, Thelma Alewine, Mike Storino, Joyce Weir; daughter in law, Diana Storino; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Storino, Joseph Secreto and Thomas Carl; a son, John; infant daughter, Karen and grandson Thomas Storino. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 11, 2006 10:30 am St. Rita's Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, July 10, 2006 7:00 pm also at St. Rita's. Entombment Calvary Cloisters.
