Obituary Susan K. Matesa Susan K. Matesa was born Aug 6, 1946 and passed away peacefully at home April 7, 2009 after courageous battle with cancer. Sue spent her early married years as a homemaker, raising her son. She later joined the work force where she made many lasting friendships. Sue was always up for a good game of cards, bingo or a poker tournament in Reno. After her retirement, Sue spent many happy times with Frank down at their farm. She was always planning special adventures with her grandsons on trips with Frank ?" Reno and the Oregon Coast being her favorites. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Bud, her mother, Carol and her sister Vicki. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 44 years, Frank, her son, Jeff, her precious grandsons, Ryan and Tanner and daughter in law, Julie, as well as many loving friends and family. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Hospice. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
