Obituary Steve was born on November 8, 1953 in Tacoma, Washington. He was the second of three sons of Gordon Dean, M.D. and Florence Dean. Steve passed away on December 11, 2006. Steve attended grade school in Redding, California, where he led an idyllic childhood playing in the woods with his older brother. He graduated from Curtis High School in Tacoma, Washington, where he played saxophone in the Jazz band and was senior class president. He graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He worked as a purchasing agent at Boeing, where he took a business trip to Japan. He took a much remembered vacation to London, England and Paris, France. Steve's passion was music. He played the guitar and had an encyclopedic knowledge of his extensive music collection. He snow skied, water skied and played golf. Steve had a great sense of humor, loved conversation, and was friendly to a fault. Steve is survived by his mother Florence, his brothers Greg (Linda) and Mark, and his nieces and nephews, Natalie, Chase, Aaron, Alan and Madeline. Private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Catholic Community Services, 1323 S. Yakima Ave. Tacoma, WA 98405.
