Obituary Stephen L. Callahan Stephen L. Callahan was born on June 5, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington and passed away on July 4, 2015 in University Place, Washington at the age of 68. Steve was a proud veteran of the United States Military. He loved his country, golf, fishing, astronomy and fireworks. It is only fitting that on the 4th of July, Steve (Boom-Boom) joins God and his parents, Edson and Marjorie Callahan, and our earthly family for a celebration of life. The family wishes to thank the loving, compassionate care Steve received at Franke Tobey Jones Retirement in Tacoma and the Franciscan Hospice House in University Place.
