Obituary Sigrid G. Elliott, 87, passed away on September 10, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Sigrid, also known as Sigi to many, was born on September 7, 1930 to Robert Fischer and Erna Fischer. She had 3 sisters and 1 brother. On November 5, 1965, Sigrid married James C. Elliott. They began their military life of 32 years and retired in 1978 in Lakewood, WA. Sigrid was an active member of the German Club, her church, the church choir, and played the organ for church services, weddings and funerals. Sigrid will be forever missed by her children, daughter Nicky (Elliott) Poole and husband Gary Poole of Lummi Island, WA; and son, Chris Elliott and wife Cheryl Elliott of Dupont, WA; and her grandchildren, McKinlee and Jarid Poole, Hannah, Rachel, Haley, Hayden and Kai Elliott. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12:00pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Tacoma WA with a reception to follow at Christ Lutheran Church in Lakewood, from 2-4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
