Obituary Sholom M. Zhukovskiy Sholom Zhukovskiy, 90, passed away April 1, 2009. He was born September 12, 1918 in Belarus. He was a physician and served with the Russian Army for 30 years. During WWII from 1941 to 1945 he accompanied and cared for the troops from Moscow through Berlin. Sholom is survived by: children, Leonid (Larisa) and Nina Khavina (Boris); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
