Obituary Shirley lost her battle for life on 2/22/07 at St. Joseph Medical Center, in Tacoma, Washington with her loving family by her side. Born in Tacoma, WA to Allen and Maxine Warren Sr. Shirley was a 1955 graduate of Fife High School. Shirley was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Shirley married her life partner, Richard J. Mazza on July 28, 1956; a marriage of 50 years. Shirley is survived by husband, Richard Sr., 7 children, Richard Jr., Ronald Sr., Debbie, Robert Sr., Donna (Jim), Randy, and Ryan. Shirley had 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her mother Maxine Warren, of Lakewood, WA, brothers, Allen (Nora), of AZ, Robert (Diane) of Tacoma, WA, Max (Deena) of AZ, Larry (Linda) of Silverdale, WA. Shirley was a 36 year member of The Women of the Moose, Lakes Chapter #511 in Lakewood, Washington. Shirley will be dearly missed by family, extended family, as well as a host of friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Allen Warren Sr. (2004) and granddaughter, Heather Ann Jones (2006). Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, 1002 S. Yakima Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, Father Tom Suss officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice.
