Obituary Shilo "Shi" Metcalf August 20, 1980 - February 17, 2016 Â Shilo was born on a sunny morning on August 20, 1980. She exemplified joy despite her personal pain. She loved everyone in her life, past and present, always "keeping it real" with a touch of kindness. She forgave easily. Her smile lit up the room, her love for her family and friends never-ending. Her cats, mac and cheese, the Seahawks, the color pink, butterflies, the ocean, sunsets, and Washington rain were favorites along with a good meal and laughter. She loved to celebrate the Fourth of July and Halloween with her nephews and niece whom she adored. Shilo was employed at the Emerald Queen Casino and Muckleshoot Casino where she worked in the VGD, Table Games, and Finance departments. She loved people and socializing. She attended Mount Tahoma High School and graduated in 2000. On a sunny February morning, Shilo was set free to fly away on another journey. She is terribly missed. Shilo is survived by her father Donald Metcalf and mother Tina Metcalf, grandmother Bessie LeBeau, sister Dawn Metcalf, cousin Jesse McGuffey, niece and nephews Jacob, Isaac, Samuel, Shiloh Detert, along with numerous relatives and friends in South Dakota and many friends here.
