Obituary SANDY JAMES HARMON "Bodhi" Sandy James Harmon had his life cut short January 23, 2006 in a devastating freeway accident. Sandy was born to Thomas and Laraine Harmon on October 30, 1982 in Tacoma. Bodhi is best described as a kind, gentle soul who enjoyed life to the fullest. Sandy is survived by his fiancee Christina Wheeler, his daughter Violette and his proud parents and grandparents Marilyn Walker and Tom and Helen Harmon. Sandy's special way of looking at life will be missed by his brothers Spencer, Sean, Stewart, Russell and sister Wendy Stafford. Sandy will also be deeply missed by his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sandy was beyond himself with joy at the birth of his 3-month old daughter. He and Christina lived happily together in Lakewood with Violette and Christina's two boys Austin and Steven. Sandy was a man who was just beginning his life with his young family. He was a well-respected professional truck driver at Harmony Trucking Inc. He had a bright future and was saving to buy a home for his family. His family was very proud of him and his accomplishments. In addition to his being a hard-working provider, Bodhi loved music and was an accomplished bass guitar player and DJ, enjoyed playing video games, was an avid fantasy book reader and animal lover. We have all been touched and loved by Sandy. There will be a Rosary and a sharing of memories at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tacoma on Sunday, Jan. 29th, 2006 at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 30th, 2006 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Any donations to help Sandy's family can be made to Columbia Bank in Sandy's name. A benefit concert for Christina and the children will be held within the next couple weeks.
