Obituary Ruth H. Kuehler was born May 2, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away peacefully at home November 19, 2011. She entered Fontbonne College in 1932, attended Washington University in St. Louis and graduated from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas in 1964. The long space between college entrance and graduation was due among other things to being married to a Colonel in the United States Army, and moving around the world while raising two sons. Various careers have consisted of professional ballet, advertising, and teaching physical fitness. She began publishing in 1950, and writing continued to be the unifying force in her life. Ruth was married to Walter W. Kuehler (deceased 1988). She had two sons, Christopher Kuehler and Gregory Kuehler (deceased 1999). She is survived by Christopher, grandchildren Emily, Andrew, and Rebecca, and beloved daughters-in-law Barbara and Bianca. "The Mind is all powerful and with right thinking and right living you can wonderfully light your way." A memorial service will be held at the Weatherly Inn in Tacoma, December 3, 1:30 PM.
