Rosemary J. Mettler

Obituary Rosemary J. Mettler 1926 - 2016   Rosemary was a long time resident of the Puyallup Valley. She was born and raised in the Puyallup Valley. Rosemary attended Holy Rosary Elementary and St. Leo's High School in Tacoma. She married Charlie Mettler in 1955 and together they ran a successful trucking business for years, Mettler Trucking. Rosemary loved and showed Arabian horses and German Sheppard dogs and was very active in her church St. Martin of Tours and the Tacoma Orthopedic Guild. Rosemary is survived by nephew, James (Dianne); their daughter, Alyssa; and nephew, Joseph (Charlene). She was preceded in death by her parents, Effie and Frank Zurfluh; brother, Frankie; and sister, Katherine. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Martin of Tours - 2303 54th Ave. E., Fife, WA 98424. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to PAWS or SPCA.
