Obituary Rosemary P. "Roney" Mallon July 24, 1931 - May 17, 2011 Rosemary Patricia (O'Leary) Mallon, died May 17, 2011after a long and painful struggle through many years. Roney was born July 24, 1931 in Tacoma. She graduated from St. Patrick Catholic School, Aquinas Academy and Marylhurst College. She taught in the Clover Park School District before becoming a full time home maker and mother. Roney had a special connection with small children and animals. She deeply loved her faith and family. "Because of her illness we haven't seen enough of her smile in recent years, but we will never forget her bright spirit. We are grateful for her peace now." Roney is survived by her husband Robert P. Mallon, daughter, Margaret Mary Mallon ( Jim Fritz), son, Timothy D. Mallon (Rita Nygaard), grandson, Jesse Nygaard-Mallon, brother, Dr. Thomas J. O'Leary and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 23, 2011, 10:30 am St. John Bosco Catholic Church. A private family Rosary will be recited at the family home on Sunday night. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
