Obituary Rosemarie Pupo Williams A very elegant lady with a strong will, good heart and a great smile, Rosemarie passed away with her daughter at her side on February 3, 2010. She was born November 27, 1918 in Vineland, NJ to Fred and Anne Wilkens, and was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. Rosemarie was a longtime area resident and retired after many years from the Fircrest Golf Club. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Rosemarie was very generous with her time, talents and money. She volunteered at the Tacoma Art Museum and was a member of the Audubon Society. Rosemarie loved to spend time with her family, friends, Mabel, traveling and gardening. Rosemarie is survived by her daughter; Christine (Bill) Schmechel, Tacoma; step-daughter, Kay (David) Walters, Palm Desert; grandchildren, Gretchen (Mark) Kruger, Boston, Gail Gove, New York, Stephen, Thomas and Veronica Williams, Dallas; step daughter-in-law, Sherri Williams, Dallas. She also has a great granddaughter "baby Kruger" due at any time. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Annie Hansch, her husbands, Donald R. Pupo, and Gene L. Williams; son, Ronald Pupo and step-son Ralph Williams. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 10, 2010 11:00 am St. Patrick Catholic Church. A Vigil will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, 7:00 pm at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at New Tacoma Cemetery. Condolences can be left at www.GaffneyCares.com.
