Obituary Rose Therese Linggi "Together Again" Rose Therese Linggi, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, 101, died February 17, 2015. Rose was born in Tacoma to Severin Meinrod and Therese Birchler on November 25, 1913. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Albert Sr. Rose was a life time member of the Tacoma Ladies Swiss Society, "Helvitia", a Founding Member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, a Founding Member of the Fircrest Garden Club, a Member of the St. Charles Borromeo Alter Society and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. Rose is survived by her children: Rose Marie (Lee) Neumann, Tacoma, Albert J. (Sheila) Linggi, Tacoma, Mary Louise (Bob) Trout, Modesto, CA.; grandchildren, Kathy (John) Stanley, Cheryl (Rodney) Donaville, Mark (Robin) Neumann, Michele (Rick) James, Major Joseph B. (Christy) Linggi, Gretchen (Todd) Irby, Allison (Drew) Zimmerman, Patrick (Erica) Linggi, Daniel (Chelsea) Linggi, Anne Marie Trout, Rob (Missy) Trout; great - grandchildren Sarah, Rachel, and Emma Stanley, Elizabeth Donaville, Daniel and Mathew James, Mason and Palmer Linggi, Sam and Ben Irby, Kathryn, Grace and Henry Zimmerman, Emmett Linggi, Kaylee and Jackson Trout. Rose was preceded in death by her four brothers, Walter, Louis, Aldoph and Rudolph Birchler. Rose was known as a dedicated gardener, talented homemaker, gourmet cook and creative seamstress. She will be best remembered for her profound religious beliefs, her loving, nurturing care of her family and friends, her constant gentle giving and caring to every life she touched as well as her beautiful smile and willingness to self-sacrifice. Rose will be greatly missed by many!! A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 Yakima Ave, Tacoma. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
