Obituary Rose Lamken Rose Lamken, 84 years old, passed away October 1, 2005, in Tacoma. She was born in Centralia, WA, and had lived in Tacoma since 1946. She had been a Professor of Art History at Fort Steilacoom College, Pierce College, Green River Community College, and the University of Puget Sound as well as being an accomplished painter for over 60 years. She was a member and a docent for 11 years at the Seattle Art Museum, was a member of Ikebana, a member of the Tacoma Art Museum and TACA, a member of Rose's Monday Group, Temple Beth El, the Sisterhood of Temple Beth El, Hadassah, and the Council of Jewish Women. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Floyd, 2 daughters: Joy McNally of Bellevue and Elaine Li of Seattle; 5 grandchildren: Shana McNally, Darin (Loretta) McNally, Daniel (Tamar) McNally, Judy (Mike) Dellart, Jonathan Li; and 5 great-granddaughters. Graveside services will be Monday, October 3, 2005, 11:00 am at Home of Peace Cemetery, Lakewood. Family suggests memorials be made to Franciscan Hospice.
