Rose Natalie Hurlbut

Obituary Rose Natalie Carbone Lepore Hurlbut Rose passed quietly in her sleep on Oct. 7 at her daughter's home. She was born in Tacoma on Christmas Day, 1911 and lived there her entire life. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed dancing, gardening and was an excellent cook. Rose was a gracious hostess and no one left her house hungry. She had a strong work ethic and passed that on to her children. Rose was preceded in death by her parents Ralph & Maria Carbone, husbands Ernie Lepore (died in 1966) and Bill Hurlbut (died in 1999). She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dominick, Santi (Amy), Louie, Jimmy (Emma), Albert (Josephine) and Johnny (Maude) Carbone and her sisters Angeline Verone and Stella Marzano. She is survived by her children Lorraine Hillman, John (Donna) Lepore, Rose Marie Eaton and Janet Lepore. She has eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Rose will always be remembered for her generosity and great sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Franciscan Hospice, P.O.
