Obituary Ronald R. Jutilla Ronald R. Jutilla passed away on 9/19/2010. He was 76. He was born July 2, 1934 in Walla Walla, WA to Raymond S. and Ione O. Jutilla. The family moved to Tacoma in 1940 when he was 6 years old. He graduated from Bellarmine Prep in 1952 and Seattle University in 1956 earning a Bachelor of Commercial Science Degree. He was a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and The National Commercial Lending Graduate School of the University of Oklahoma. Jutilla joined the National Bank of Commerce/Rainier Bank in 1961 and held various managements positions in Vancouver, WA, Richland, Aberdeen and Tacoma. He was with Rainier Bank for 26 years. When the bank was sold he joined Puget Sound National Bank/Key Bank in 1987. At the time of his retirement in April 1998, he was Vice-President and District Manager of the Southern Puget Sound District. His banking career spanning almost 37 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, President of the Parish Council and a member of the Financial Committee. He was also Chairman of the State of Washington Child Care Facility Fund Committee. Previously, he was a trustee of the Franciscan Foundation for Health Care, Vice-President of the Daffodil Festival Board of Directors and President of the Board of Trustees at St. Joseph Hospital, Aberdeen, WA. He was also a member of BPOE#174 in Tacoma. Jutilla is survived by his daughter, Cathy Lamet of Univeristy Place, sons, David Jutilla (Kristy) of Auburn and Tom Jutilla of Tacoma, 3 grandsons, Bradley Lamet, Devin Jutilla and Connor Jutilla, his brother Don Jutilla (Phyllis) residing in University Place and numerous nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Marilyn R. Jutilla, two sons, Michael and Bob, granddaughter, Lacey and brother, Robert James Jutilla. The Jutilla Family would like to thank the family and friends as well as the many health care providers for their heartfelt support. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, September 24, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. He requested that memorial donations be made to Bellarmine Preparatory School Scholarship Fund, 2300 S. Washington St., Tacoma, WA 98405 or St. Charles Borromeo School Scholarship Fund, 7112 S. 12th St., Tacoma, WA 98465.
