Obituary Rodney William Wilson Rodney William Wilson passed away peacefully on January 28, 2014 after battling 8 months of cancer. He was born on November 4, 1943 in Seattle, WA, the son of William and Virginia Wilson who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Paula, the love of his life for 41 years; sons, Ryan and wife Katie, and John; daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Kira and Jacob; and sister, Judy Wilson. He graduated from Edmonds High School in Washington. He was a drafted soldier who served in the Vietnam War with the 9th Infantry Division based at Fort Riley, Kansas. Upon retiring from the war, he was employed in Seattle by Clyde Equipment Company where he met his wife. He studied International Business and they moved to British Columbia, Canada where their two sons were born. After 5 years, they returned to Federal Way, WA where their daughter was born. Rod was employed at Fray Equipment in Seattle where he met his future business partner. He then joined Ramco Construction Tools, Inc. where he was an International Sales Manager for 26 years, which allowed him and his wife to travel the world. Rod was a private person, a quiet and gentle soul who never said a harsh word about anyone. He was a devoted and caring husband that made all dreams come true. He was an extremely generous man who always put everyone else first. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 3939 SW 331st Street, Federal Way, WA 98023.
