Obituary Roberta Beritich Roberta Carol Beritich (Horgan) passed away December 2nd, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Butte Montana to Jerome and Edna Horgan on a beautiful Christmas Eve in 1935. Her early years were spent in Butte until the family moved to Kenniwick, WA where she graduated from high school in 1954. In 1965 she married the love of her life Antone and together they raised their family in Old Town, Tacoma. Roberta loved to be with family and friends, the more the merrier. She enjoyed having something to do. Her career as the Child Nutrition Specialist at Lowell Elementary brought her so much joy. She was proud to be known as Grandma by the students and staff. After retiring from the Tacoma School Nutrition Department, she remained involved up until the very end with the Tacoma School Nutrition Association. Roberta loved to travel, gardening, camping, and clamming down at the ocean, spontaneous road trips, and a good book. She also loved to dance, she and Tony were a match made in heaven on the dance floor, and she glowed in the arms of dad. She loved the lord and her faith kept her positive and secure. Roberta will be greatly missed by so many, for she had an impact on everyone she met. Proceeding her in death are her parents Jerome and Edna, and daughter Joanne. Roberta is survived by her devoted husband of forty five years, Antone Beritich, daughters Tracey Lipke (James), Alicia Fowler (Sean) and son Anthony Beritich.
