Obituary Robert C. Zerbel Robert C. Zerbel, 86 years old, living in Tacoma, WA, passed away in the comfort of his home early in the morning of February 8, 2016. Robert worked as a Prudential Insurance salesman, radio operator/DJ, and spent five years serving our country in the US Navy. His passion was woodworking, and he spent many years making countless wood creations through his business, Zerb's Woodworks. He also loved golfing, planting his tomato garden in the summer, bird watching, reading, and trips to the beach with his family. He was passionate about life, and lived every moment to the fullest. He touched so many lives during his time with us on earth, and is greatly missed by everyone who loved him and knew him. He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife of nearly 62 years, Doreen Zerbel, who he married on February 20th, 1954. His five children; Bobby Zerbel and his wife Jody, Gail Callies and her husband Dennis, Judy Timmerman and her husband Rick, Jan Cooley and the love of her life Larry Wilson, Cindy Nelson and her husband Mike. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Heather, Scotty, Mollie, Hazel, Jamie, and Heidi; and great-grandson, Ryan. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
