Robert Joseph Sheridan

December 5, 1940 — December 10, 2022

“Papa Bob”, born Robert Joseph Sheridan December 5th, 1940, was the son of the late Charles and Francis Sheridan. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 10, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his wives - Susan Huber and Judith “Judy” Shows Stevenson, parents, and sisters Jean, Francis, Margarete and Ann.

Bob was lucky enough to find love twice, in 1967 he married Susan, who passed away in 1985. In 1991 he married Judy, who passed away in November 2021. Bob loved his wives and family. He was a diligent and hardworking husband, father, papa, and great papa.

Bob enlisted in the Army at 18 and was proud to honorably serve his Country for 20 years.  His service included 2 tours in Vietnam as well as being stationed in Europe and Korea. During his Military Service he received several medals to include the Bronze Star.

After retiring from the Army he worked in human resources for numerous security companies before working at the VA Hospital in Seattle where he retired from in 2006. Bob enjoyed volunteering with cub scouts, helping with Teresa’s fastpitch team, camping, fishing, working in his yard, watching westerns, and spending time with family, grandkids and great grandkids.

The ones left behind; son Rob Sheridan (wife Heidi), step son Jeff Stevenson (wife Mayra), step son David Stevenson (wife Cindy), step daughter Teresa Allen (husband Phil), grandchildren Kyle Stevenson (wife Josie) Jacob & Alex Stevenson, Ryker Stevenson (wife Alanna), Bronte Stevenson, Yasmine Carreno, Kaylee Patredis (husband Nick), Garrett Allen, Cheyanne Garcia (husband Jose), Savannah Sheridan, great grandchildren Devanny Stevenson, Kanaan Braae, and Madison Garcia, many nieces and nephews.  His family and the little ones to come will miss him and keep him in their hearts forever.

In honor of our dad’s wishes a private ceremony will be held with military honors.  In lieu of flowers remembrance can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center in his name.
