Obituary Robert (Bob) Guthrie Nov. 21, 1935 July 25, 2018 Bob's sunrise was Nov. 21, 1935, and his sunset July 25, 2018. He was born in Eads, Colorado, the first child of Cora Ruth and Cecil Clyde Guthrie, and passed away in Puyallup, Washington after a brief but courageous fight with cancer. Bob was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He graduated from Eatonville High School and went on to earn a B.A. in English at the University of Washington while working summers at the St. Regis Pulp Mill. Bob then went on to a successful career in sales. Bob was a hard worker, traveling the country while employed by Corn Products Company International. He was devoted to his family, and to his passions for clam digging, fishing, baseball, and his many pet cats. Bob was predeceased by his infant daughter Mary Kathleen, and parents Cora and Cecil. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Florence (Wells), brother Jim and wife Nancy, children Kathleen and husband James, Robert and longtime companion Michelle, Theresa, and John and wife Heather, as well as grandchildren Tawnya, Joseph, Alex, and Melissa. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Recitation of the Rosary will commence at 10:15 AM, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception in the All Saints Social Hall. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home
