Obituary Richard O. Gosselin Richard O. Gosselin, 86, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was born to the late Orville and Edith Gosselin on June 22, 1927 in Sumner, Washington. After a short period in Olympia, they relocated to Puyallup where he spent most of his youth. He was drafted out of his senior year of high school in 1946 where he spent 14 months in the United States Army. Upon return, Rich met his soon to be wife on New Year's Day of 1947 and they were wed that September. Rich worked for Pacific Northwest Bell for 27 years and later Tacoma Telco for 13 years as the Assistant Manager where he retired in 1987. Rich appreciated many things, among which were cars, art, and his family. He was a very dedicated member of All Saints Catholic Church and Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Rich had crystal blue eyes and a smile that could light up a room. He had a heart that always thought of others first and a work ethic that never quit. Rich's greatest love was his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Gary Gosselin; daughter, Janet Gosselin; and two granddaughters. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beverly; his brother, Martin Gosselin; his children, Kristine Chambard, Tim Gosselin (Mollie), and Connie Taylor (John); 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1001 N. J Street, Tacoma, WA 98403. Inurnment at Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, WA.
