Obituary Raonda K. Walton Raonda K. (George) Walton passed away on April 16, 2009. She touched the lives of many. Her legacy can be found in the strength of the family she leaves behind. For over forty years, she shared her love with her husband Jerry. They made a life together that consisted of friendship and devotion. Though born in Tacoma, Raonda and Jerry raised their children in Fircrest. Her love of this community was shown by her activity in local politics and history. Her writing often lit up the editorial section of the News Tribune. Raonda was small in stature, but her gentle spirit was immeasurable. Family and friends could always count on her. She never refused a friend and often sought out those in need. She will be dearly missed by those left behind including her husband Jerry; her children Damian (Donya), Dayna Baird (Vince), and Tarra Corwin (Jeremy); honorary son Greg Rock; grandchildren Alex, DJ, Ashleigh, Taylor, and Emma; twin sister Wanda Renken (Jim) and her special nephew Shaun (Meghan); along with numerous other family members. If a life is measured in love, her life would stretch around the world. Per her request, no service will be held.
