Obituary Ralph B. Burnett Ralph was born on May 9, 1921 in Canada to Elmer and Marie Burnett and passed away on July 9, 2013 in Tacoma, WA, he was 92. Ralph graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma and attended college in Montana. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and was a veteran of World War II. It was while fighting in Italy that he met his beloved wife of 66 years, Wally (Valli) Burnett. Ralph worked for and also retired from Simpson Timber Co. after 33 years of service. Ralph was a member of Tacoma Country & Golf Club and Tacoma Elks Club. He enjoyed playing the piano and was the leader of his own band in Montana. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marie Burnett; and brother, Francis (Frisco) Burnett. He is survived by his beloved wife, Wally (Valli) Burnett; niece Elizabeth Burnett and two nieces in Florence, Italy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5510 N. 44th St., Tacoma, WA with a reception to follow. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
