Rachel Minnitti. 2/27/26 to 9/5/2023
Rachel Minnitti has moved into her waterfront condo in heaven on September 5th 2023. It took God, 97 years (2/27/26), to make it perfect for her. Her husband Samuel and daughter Kathleen have been waiting to be united with her. I am sure they will have a spaghetti dinner waiting.
Rachel was employed as an accountant. Her first place of employment was at Fort Lewis. She then became part of the Sentry/Patriot Sprinkler System family working for them into her late eighties. She loved going to work. She looked as it being more of a hobby.
Rachel enjoyed going out to eat and traveling. She went several times, to the east coast, where she spent time exploring the theater, gardens, and, of course, shopping. She loved watching golf, especially when “Tiger” played. She enjoyed puzzles and playing cards with her great grandson Jax. She always told him “Wow” and this became her response to everything!
Rachel was a great room mate, living with her son Larry(Carol) for over 37 years. Her longevity, she said, was due to Larry. That she had to stick around to give him a bad time because who else would. She has been a vital part of our lives and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by sons: Lawrence (Carol) Minnitti, Bart Minnitti; Grandkids: Samantha Hollingsworth, Anthony Minnitti, Tiffany Brown, Monica Minnitti, Rachel Sommersth, Joseph Minnitti and great grandkids.
