Obituary Phyllis Mary Dennison Phyllis Mary (Baldasare) Dennison was born June 20, 1922 and passed away peacefully on January 4, 2015. She spent the majority of her 92 years in the Tacoma area. Phyllis was known for her generosity, kindness and caring personality. She knew no strangers and often found new friends everywhere....everyday. One of her greatest joys was the gathering of friends and family around her table for an Italian feast, where there was always an extra chair. She touched so many people and affected all with her wonderful, effervescent personality. We can all take her example as a role model for our lives. She has now joined many of her friends and relatives including her husband, Dayton H. Dennison; brothers, Tony, Phil and Ralph; and her subsequent husband, William Garrett. Let the reunion party in heaven begin! Phyllis is survived by her two children, Joan C. Kruger and Dayton P. "Bud" Dennison; her brother, Joseph Baldassare; her sister, Francis Gilletti; grandchildren, Leslie, Jennifer, Dennis, Michael and Matthew; as well as six great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00am at Visitation Catholic Church (S. 58th St., Tacoma). Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
