Obituary Peter was born Aug 27, 1914 in Fremont, Nebraska to Christian Frederict Otto Ibsen and Mary Elizabeth Harvey Ibsen. He was the 7th of eleven children. Peter made his way out to the Northwest when he came to Puyallup to work on his Aunt and Uncle's farm. He then joined the Army and was honorably discharged from Ft. Lewis Army Base in 1946. After the Army, Peter worked at Rainer Plywood Co. until retirement. He passed peacefully at age 97 on Nov 24 at his Weatherly Inn residence in Tacoma, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents (Otto & Mary), four sisters (Viola, Clara, Ida & Jean), six brothers (William, Henry, Christian, Otto, John & Albert), step-daughter and his wife of 22 years Mary Lou. He is survived by four step-sons, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Monday, Dec 5, 2011 at 9:00am with a reception immediately following in the Parish Hall. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
