Peggy Lee Schibig-Moultine, 71, of Tacoma, Washington passed away November 25th, 2023 peacefully at home with her husband by her side. Peg was born on December 14th, 1951 to Joseph and Margaret Schibig. She spent her formative years in the North End of Tacoma attending Aquinas Academy, class of ‘70.
Peg continued her education at Western Washington University and Gonzaga University where she earned her master’s degree. Peg was a dedicated and passionate elementary teacher and literacy specialist for over 40 years. It was during this time she met and married a fellow teacher, Scott Moultine. They spent 35 beautiful years together. Peg was also a beloved stepmother and Geegee. She had a deeply caring and generous heart. She was a loyal and cherished friend to many.
Peggy Lee will be deeply missed.
Peg is survived by her husband Scott, stepdaughter, Morgan Bell (Matthew), father Joe Schibig, brother Joey Schibig, and two granddaughters Harper and Audrey.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Margaret Schibig. In lieu of flowers a contribution in her name can be made to a the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Information for a Celebration of life will be communicated at a later date.
