Obituary Pauline L. Slosar Pauline Louise Slosar, loving and beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, began her new life on Monday July 31, 2006. She was born in Tacoma on January 12, 1928 attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Academy. She met her husband Joe Slosar, and married him on May 20, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents Paul and Maria Serka, and sister Marie Ried. Pauline was a very accomplished Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for over 32 years. She also enjoyed aerobics, bowling, traveling, and above all just being with people. She had a very kind heart and will be missed by all. She is survived by her 4 children; Tom Slosar, Joan Horgen, David Slosar, and Paul Slosar; 10 grandchildren, and sister Patti Skansi. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 9, 2006, 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Gig Harbor and vigil with Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday August 8, 2006 at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
