Paul Chromey, born October 3, 1958, in Tacoma to Adolph and Phyllis Chromey, died suddenly at home on December 19th in the presence of his wife, Debbie, and children. He graduated from Lincoln High School, class of ’77, in Tacoma and attended Tacoma Community College. Paul was a dedicated Teamster of Union Local #174 and was employed as a truck driver by Roadway. Paul and Debbie enjoyed many trips across the US, primarily to Montana, Utah, Arizona, and Iowa. They held a common interest in history during their travels, including in the Oregon Trail and the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Mount Rainier was a special place for him, as was the Enzian Inn in Leavenworth, Washington. He was active in his neighborhood Safe Streets in Tacoma.
