Paul G. "Wally" Adams was born on December 18, 1952 to Sam and Lorraine Adams. He attended Holy Cross Catholic School, Bellarmine Prep (1971), and the University of Puget Sound (1975). His first occupation was as a history teacher. He went on to become a police officer, starting his career In Snohomish County, then transferring to the Auburn Police Department, and finally retiring from the Port of Seattle in 2008.
Paul enjoyed golfing, Husky football, and Monday night poker with his friends. He had a passion for road trips taking him on many adventures with his wife, Patty. He was a kind, generous soul who was always willing to lend a hand.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lorraine Adams, and by his brother, John. He is survived by his wife Patty, brothers Mike, Rick (Robin), and Sam (Jeanne), his sister Susie Roberts (Jim), and sister-in-law Kay Tainter (Chuck) as well as nephews and nieces Aaron (Erica), Alex (Becca), Adrienne, Arielle, Mary Kate, Megan, Hallie Savage (Spencer), Hanna Reis (Dan), and Travis Tainter and great nephews Duke, Kyan And Traeger.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (Tacoma, WA) on Wednesday, February 21st, at 11 AM. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the help, care, prayers, entertainment, and visits while Paul was ill.
