Patrick Kevin O'Brien

Obituary Father Patrick Kevin O'Brien Father was born on St. Paddy's Day, March 17, 1922, and was called home to our Lord on May 12, 2014. He came to the Seattle Archdiocese as a newly ordained priest in 1947, and served at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Sedro Woolley, St. Alphonsus in Seattle, St. Philip Parish in Woodland, and Immaculate Conception in Mt. Vernon. He came to St. Martin of Tours Parish in July of 1976 and retired after 27 years as pastor. He was dearly loved by all his parish families. He is preceded in death by his seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by his beloved nieces and nephews in Ireland. A special thanks to his caretakers, Darlene Corrado and John Simpson for the loving care and companionship during his disability the past few years. In lieu of flowers, remembrances or masses for Father Patrick O'Brien may be made to St. Martin of Tours Parish. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 2303 - 54th Ave E., Fife, WA. Rosary will be recited at 10:00am prior to Mass also at church. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
