Obituary Patrick W. Fitzgerald "Pat" Pat was born in Tacoma, WA to William and Mary Fitzgerald on Dec 18, 1951 and passed away on Jan 13, 2008 of a sudden illness. Pat grew up and attended schools in Tacoma. On August 22, 1997 he married Lynda McCarthy at St. Patrick's Church. He brought much joy and support to the McCarthy Family. He is survived by his wife, Lynda, daughters; Katie and Jalin; Mother, Mary Fitzgerald, Sisters, Kathy (Dan) Brands, Maggie (Bruce) Donald, Joan (Bob) Cooper, Brothers; Tom (Karen) Fitzgerald, Mike (Holly) Fitzgerald. Many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marie McCarthy and the McCarthy family, and special family friend, Angela Clark. Pat was preceded in death by his father, William. Pat lived life to the fullest. His greatest joy was his daughters. They often were found beachcombing, hiking, visiting the zoo or museums. Pat was outgoing, friendly and just a nice man. He had friends everywhere he went, the grocery store, coffee shop, bank, school, Faith Int'l Adoptions and friend of Bill W. Pat was able to fix anything and he loved a challenge. He leaves behind many beautiful reminders of his work. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, Jan. 21st 2008, 10:30 am at St. Rita's Church at 1403 S.
